The “New Changes to Overtime Rules” Webinar from Seyfarth Shaw was held on Thursday, July 14, at 2 pm (EST). If you missed the webinar – or want to view it again – here’s your opportunity. Some Background: On May 18, 2016, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued the new final overtime regulations that will affect all U.S. employers subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

These revisions, which will become effective on December 1, 2016, include a number of sweeping changes to current overtime exemptions, including significant increases to the minimum salary that employees must be paid to be considered exempt under the executive, administrative, and professional exemptions.
